  • Sisters of the Precious Blood and several area fraternal groups and their women’s auxiliaries led the entrance procession from Maria Stein Center to the outdoor Mass site.

  • Leading the entrance procession are representatives of the Maria Stein American Legion Post 571, the Knights of St. John, and following behind are the Ladies Auxiliary from Maria Stein and the Knights of Columbus, Council 2158, from Minster.
  • Precious Blood Father Kenneth Schroeder, who presided at the Mass, and Deacon John Schmeising, smile as Sister Florence Seifert offers opening remarks and welcome at the start of the Mass. Sister Florence is president of the Sisters of the Precious Blood.

  • A majority of those attending the Aug. 16 Mass and picnic made it a family affair. These participants, of all ages, found a shady spot on the hillside.
