An appreciation for Jesus' unconditional love.

  • An appreciation for Jesus' unconditional love.
  • Mystreal Body - The vine and the branches. We put on Christ, we are buried in Christ. Christ is in me, and we are in Him. The Church "owed her foundation and solidarity to the Power of the Blood of Christ. This it is which flows through every channel of grace." Pope Pius XII, Mystici Corporis
  • Rooted in Eucharistic Prayer. We approach the Eucharist offering thanks through bread and wine, symbols of creation and of our hands - gifts of God to us.
  • An appreciation for Jesus' unconditional love.
  • Mother Brunner with her bread pouch, which is so very symbolic of her life - charity for the needy and always baking extra bread for the poor who lived in the valley.
  • Cloth banner of Mother Brunner. The castle (top left) is the original site of the beginning of our Precious Blood community. The chalice and host (top right) represents her love of the Eucharist and Eucharistic adoration (especially night hours of adoration) before the Blessed Sacrament. The two hearts (right) are symbolic of the love of Jesus and Mary - the Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart.
  • Mold of Our Lady of the Rock (Maria Stein).
  • Cloth banner of Mother Brunner.
  • Wood carving of Mother Brunner.
  • Mosaic cross with inlaid enamel squares - the richness of the glory and salvation of the cross.
  • CHRIST THE PRIEST. Hand-carved in the 1950s during Liturgical renewal. Previously hung in the Sisters' dining room at Regina High School in Norwood, Ohio.
  • Canvas painting representing the sacrifice on Calvary. The Sister in the black habit represents Mother Brunner; the four Sisters across the bottom represent the Juniorate Sisters. The items they are carrying represent the four ends of the Mass: 1) Incense represents praise; 2) Harp represents Thanksgiving; 3) Crown with cross in the center represents reparation or reconciliation; 4) Book represents the petitions or intercessions. The five Sisters on the right side of the painting represent the Sisters going up to make their first vows. The priest is St. Gaspar del Bufalo with Chalice in his hand representing the Mass, offering the Sisters life through their vows. The art at the top represents heaven and all the graces being received through the Mass.<br />
This painting (which is 12x4') is currently displayed on the stairwell wall between the first and second floors at Salem Heights.
  • The Virgin Mary.
  • Hand-carved scroll. LAUS ET HONOR SANGUINI JESU (Praise and Honor to the Blood of Jesus).
  • Hand-carved cross from Father Brunner's wooden trunk; the corpus is made of terra cotta.
  • Mother Maria Anna Brunner painted in 2009 for the 175th anniversary of the Sisters of the Precious Blood.
  • Father Francis de Sales Brunner painted in 2009 for the 175th Anniversary of the Sisters of the Precious Blood
